Not every Nose is equal!

Updated: Mar 12, 2021

Lots of myths abound about the French Bulldog and his or her nose. It is sometimes an issue and with brachycephalic dogs it is common but not necessarily to be expected. We have had to have the ' Nares' done on two of our dogs and noted from my personal experience is: The recovery time is swift, the dog appeared to be comfortable and we suffered no complications, thank goodness. It is also a great time to ask your vet about your dogs soft pallet. I always ask about the size of the tube and space available. This can help you make decisions later on, if you need to have that type of surgery.
